Ovenex baking pans were produced by the Edward Katzinger Company (later called EKCO) from 1945 to 1965. With its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Chicago IL, EKCO produced pans with textured bottoms that were advertised to more evenly distribute the heat and make baked goods easier to remove.
At the same time, Bakerex, a competitor in the houseware manufacturing industry began producing thier line of Crownware pans.
Our trays feature these history-rich antique pans, encased in a handmade wooden frame that enhances the beauty and history of each piece.
